2010 PRODUCTION ANNOUNCED
Monday, December 14, 2009
Music City Drum and Bugle Corps will invite audiences to join them on a riverboat journey down the Mississippi in their 2010 production "River Sounds". In 2009 the corps' inaugural show delighted fans with familiar tunes that dared one not to hum along, and next year Music City will serve up more of the same. On track to double the size of its horn line and color guard, the corps invites you to hop on board for season two.
Music City's riverboat voyage will include the following musical selections:
"Down to the River to Pray", Traditional
"St. Louis Blues" by W.C. Handy
"Can't Help Falling in Love" by George Weiss, Hugo Peretti and Luigi Creatore
"Mississippi Suite" by Ferde Grofe
"When the Saints Go Marching In", Traditional
"Ole Man River" by Dennis Brown
The corps will take its first look at some of the new arrangements by brass arranger Brian Diller at the upcoming camp on December 19-20. It is not too late for interested prospects to let us know of your interest in auditioning for the corps. Please complete and submit the interest form available HERE. You may also email the corps at info@MusicCityDrumCorps.org or call us at 615-467-4090.
